Whenever using
electrical home appliances, you must follow basic safety instructions.
Before using your
rice cooker, please do read all instructions carefully; even though your rice
cooker has been designed and manufactured to high standard of engineering.
Before first use:
a.
Ensure
any labels, tags or stickers that may be attached to the housing or inner
cooking bowl of the Rice Cooker are removed.
b.
Wash
the cooking bowl, the lid, measuring cup and spatula in warm soapy water and
dry thoroughly. Do not use harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners on any part of
the appliance.
Usually, all the
safety instructions are clearly described in their leaflet, including the
following:
1.
Read
all instruction carefully and thoroughly.
2.
To protect against the risk of electric
shock, never immerse the rice cooker housing, cord set or plug in water or any other liquid. If the housing falls into liquid,
unplug the cord from the outlet immediately.
3.
Use the Rice
Cooker only as intended. The Rice Cooker should be for household
use and do not use outdoors.
4.
Never place this appliance on or near a
hot gas or electric burner or where it could touch a
heated oven or microwave oven.
5.
Do not touch hot surfaces; use handles or
knobs. Use oven mitts if removing the cooking bowl. I
recommend allowing the cooking bowl to cool before removing from the outer
housing.
6.
Operate the Rice Cooker on a dry, stable
level work surface, away from the edge. Ensure that the
cord does not over-hang the work surface as this is a hazard.
7.
We recommend inspecting
the Rice Cooker regularly for damage to the cord set, cooking bowl, outer
housing and plug. Should the Rice cooker need repair, return to the place of
purchase or have a qualified service technician examine and repair.
Importantly, young children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
